Spondylolisthesis

Spondylolisthesis, the slipping forward of one spinal segment on the segment below it, is a chronic pain condition treated at the Center for Pain Management. Treatments for spondylolisthesis can vary.

Spondylolisthesis can be congenital, or acquired as a result of trauma or degenerative processes. It can be stable (fixed) or unstable resulting in abnormal segmental movement when an individual bends forward or extends back. Spondylolisthesis treatments may involve spondylolisthesis exercises or spondylolisthesis surgery.
